A global law firm seeks a Senior Administrative Manager to oversee the daily and strategic operations of the New York and Washington, DC offices, with a focus on workflow optimization, professional development, and training. This fast-paced position will involve monitoring staff utilization and assignments, recommending hiring needs, and overseeing ongoing training initiatives. The Senior Administrative Manager will work closely with attorneys to evaluate procedures and implement change, in addition to gathering feedback for performance evaluations. This individual will be tasked with designing process improvements, developing solutions to ongoing issues, and resolving any personnel matters. He or she will also manage PTO requests and ensure adequate coverage to meet the firm’s administrative needs.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of management experience within a law firm or professional services setting. The qualified applicant will demonstrate the ability to implement process improvements, manage and evaluate a staff, and proactively resolve any issues that may arise. The Senior Administrative Manager will have highly effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with employment laws. This individual must also be able to maintain confidential information and apply a detail-oriented approach.
