A progressive and highly ranked law firm seeks a Senior Marketing Manager to work closely with attorneys in the Litigation Department. This leadership position will involve designing strategic plans, recognizing cross-selling opportunities, and supporting attorneys with the execution of client development initiatives. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for preparing a variety of pitches, responses to RFPs, and presentations in addition to overseeing content creation and project management. He or she will also plan events and sponsorships, supervise and mentor junior team members, and identify ways to enhance systems and processes.
To qualify for this position, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of legal business development experience as well as familiarity with litigation processes. The firm seeks a proactive and organized professional with the ability to apply highly effective communication, project management, and analytical thinking skills. The Senior Marketing Manager must be able to establish a positive rapport with attorneys, lead by example, and demonstrate a strong client service approach. Flexibility to travel and/or work overtime to meet the demands of the role are also required.
