Position Description:

A highly established law firm seeks a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee the firm’s strategic technology plans across multiple firm locations. This position will involve managing a team of between 30 and 40 professionals, including monitoring workflow, providing training, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients and staff. The CIO will have the responsibility of identifying ways to enhance systems and processes, managing budgets, and meeting regularly with firm leadership to address any areas of concerns. Additionally, this individual will coordinate services with outside vendors, supervise projects from inception through completion, and make recommendations regarding the installation of new hardware, software, and business applications.

Position Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of IT leadership experience within a law firm or professional services setting. The CIO must be able to manage a large staff, implement strategic plans, and apply an exception client service approach. The qualified applicant will demonstrate an extensive knowledge of IT operations as well as highly effective communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. This individual should also be able to excel in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to travel or work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the role.
