An international law firm seeks an experienced Reception and Conference Services professional to play a leadership role within the New York office. This newly created position will involve ensuring a high level of service to attorneys, clients, and other guests by creating a welcoming environment, hiring and training a qualified team of professionals, and implementing policies as needed. The Client Services Supervisor will contribute to the successful planning and execution of in-house events, monitor the conference room reservation system, and handle payments to vendors. This individual will also be tasked with evaluating the client services staff while also assisting with answering incoming calls, greeting guests to the firm, and responding to any inquiries that arise.
This position requires at least six years of hospitality experience with at least two years of experience working in a supervisory capacity. The candidate selected for this opportunity will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an event scheduling software system, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Client Services Supervisor must be able to apply a detail-oriented approach, manage ongoing projects, and anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
