A prestigious law firm seeks a qualified Legal Secretary to provide administrative support to a team of attorneys in the Real Estate Department. This position requires previous experience working in a Real Estate Practice, as this individual will assist the attorneys with drafting, revising, and proofreading practice-specific legal documents and correspondence. The person in this role will be responsible for tracking the attorneys’ time in order to assist with client billing efforts, and will create and update client lists. This position will also involve managing the attorneys’ calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and organizing electronic files.
The firm seeks a candidate with at least five years of experience assisting with real estate transactions. This individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced legal setting. Furthermore, the qualified Legal Secretary will be able to demonstrate an excellent client service approach, manage time effectively, and exercise strong communication skills, in addition to taking initiative and applying strong judgement.
