Position Description:

A prominent law firm seeks a Docket Clerk to work with the Managing Clerk on a variety of litigation matters. This person will be responsible for preparing and filing litigation documents, maintaining the calendar of upcoming trials and deadlines, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. He or she will be tasked with conducting research on changes in protocols and responding to inquiries regarding court rules and procedures. The Docket Clerk will also communicate regularly with court personnel and travel to the courts as necessary.

Position Requirements:

The firm seeks a legal support professional with at least one year of experience in a Managing Clerk’s office. The successful candidate will be familiar with court matters, proficient in docketing procedures, and knowledgeable in related research databases. He or she must be able to communicate effectively with others, learn new processes quickly, and apply strong time management skills.
