Position Location: New York, New York
A leading international law firm seeks a legal marketing professional to become an Assistant Manager of Business Development to join a highly collaborative team. This position will involve servicing all practice areas and attorneys within the New York office, including preparing response to RFPs, updating tailored marketing materials, and contributing to the development of strategic client development plans. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for updating content on the firm’s website, creating presentations for client meetings, and planning a variety of events, trade shows, and speaking engagements. He or she will also provide recommendations for enhancing the firm’s branding, deliver business development training to attorneys, and assist with client and industry research.
The firm seeks a marketing professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of legal or professional services experience. The qualified applicant will demonstrate exceptional communication and project management skills, a creative approach to business development, and a proactive work ethic. The Assistant Manager must be a team player who can interact professionally with attorneys and clients while effectively addressing any issues that arise. This individual should also be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and proficient with a CRM system such as InterAction.
