Position Location: New York, New York
A law firm with over 200 attorneys in the New York office seeks a Benefits Manager to play a leadership role within the HR Department. This position will involve overseeing the enrollment process, serving as a subject matter expert for attorneys and staff, and liaising between the firm and preferred brokers. The Benefits Manager will be responsible for updating relevant documentation, handling onboarding procedures for new hires, and providing support for Leaves of Absence and COBRA administration, as well as processing any life or employment changes as necessary. This individual will be tasked with updating reports, planning wellness initiatives and educational programming, and evaluating vendors, in addition to conducting research on changes in state and federal regulations or best practices.
The firm seeks a human resources professional with a strong interest and understanding of benefits administration. This position requires advanced knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, excellent interpersonal and project management skills, and a proactive work ethic. This individual must be a team player who can interact with all levels of personnel, play a leadership role, and effectively problem-solve any issues that arise.
Annual Salary (US$): 141K-150K /annual
