Position Description:

A thriving law firm seeks a Manager of Finance and Accounting to lead a team in the successful execution of all billing, collections, general accounting, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable activities. This position will involve maintaining General Ledger and Escrow accounts, generating balance sheets, and analyzing cash flow, as well as managing bank accounts and reconciling balances. The Manager will be responsible for determining budgets, calculating variances, and creating quarterly reports, in addition to presenting financial findings to firm leadership. He or she will also implement procedures and systems, coordinate with external auditors, and identify ways to enhance the profitability of the firm.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with an advanced degree or CPA designation preferred, as well as ten or more years of financial operations experience in a law firm or professional services setting. The firm seeks a detail-oriented professional with the ability to analyze and present complex financial information, while exercising strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. The Manager must be able to develop highly effective relationships with staff and firm leadership, in addition to applying discretion and sound judgement.

Annual Salary (US$): 181K-190K /annual
