Position Location: New York, New York
A private equity boutique with global reach seeks a Director of Human Resources to join the New York office. This position will involve providing leadership and guidance in the areas of talent acquisition, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations. The Director will be responsible for managing the onboarding and offboarding of employees, approving time off requests, and implementing policies, as well as evaluating staff and recommending ways to enhance processes. The person in this role will be tasked with traveling to other locations in order to provide hands-on support as well as foster a cohesive and positive working environment.
In order to be successful in this position, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of progressive HR experience. This person must be a strategic thinker with highly effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills as well as the ability to excel in a fast-paced setting. The Director of HR should be comfortable working with employees at all levels (and across geographic locations), with the ability to proactively problem-solve any issues that might occur. Flexibility to travel up to 25% is also a requirement.
Annual Salary (US$): 191K-200K /annual
