Position Description:

The New York office of a competitive law firm seeks a Senior Talent Coordinator to support all facets of entry-level and lateral attorney hiring, as well as professionals in the areas of diversity & inclusion, professional development, and alumni relations. This position will involve reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, extending offers, and responding to inquiries from interested applicants. The role will involve contributing to initiatives related to training, mentorship, and performance evaluations, and coordinating orientation, onboarding, and departure procedures. The Senior Talent Coordinator will also be tasked with managing budgets, generating reports, and overseeing junior team members.

Required Skills:

The firm seeks a talent acquisition professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience in a law firm or professional services setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent judgement and a professional demeanor in order to serve as the face of the firm. The Senior Talent Coordinator should have the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment, adaptability to changing demands, and flexibility to work overtime or travel as needed. The ability to establish strong relationships and handle confidential information is also critical for this role.
