Position Location: New York, New York
An outstanding law firm seeks a Business Development Manager to play a leadership role within the New York office. This dynamic position will involve supporting attorneys across a variety of practices, identifying opportunities for client development, and advising on marketing best practices. The BD Manager will be responsible for managing pitch and RFP processes, identifying emerging trends or potential new clients, and supporting attorneys with the creation of individual business plans. The person in this role will be tasked with gathering research and competitive intelligence, preparing material collateral and attorney bios, and tracking the firm’s successes, as well as coordinating speaking engagements and client events.
The firm seeks a marketing professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of relevant marketing experience; a secondary degree such as a JD or MBA is preferred but not required. The qualified applicant will have a proactive work ethic as well as highly developed communication, presentation, and project management skills. The BD Manager must be able to work collaboratively with professionals in other offices while providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Strong technical abilities and a thorough understanding of professional services marketing is also required.
Annual Salary (US$): 181K-190K /annual
