Position Description:

A boutique law firm seeks a Paralegal with at least two years of experience in a tax or litigation practice. This position will involve preparing, reviewing, and compiling tax forms, correspondence, and responses to information requests. The person in this role will be tasked with conducting research, performing quality checks for upcoming filings, and organizing pleading files, trial notebooks, expert testimonies, witness notebooks, and document indexes. The Paralegal will also be responsible for assisting with corporate matters such as preparing minutes, resolutions, and transfer documents.

Required Skills:

In addition to 2+ years of related experience, the firm seeks a proactive professional with a bachelor’s degree and strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. The qualified applicant will have familiarity with tax rules and regulations, e-filing procedures, and cite checking, as well as the ability to utilize various research databases. Furthermore, the Paralegal should be able to work overtime or travel as needed to meet the demands of the role.
