Position Description:

One of the world’s leading law firms seeks a Human Resources Manager to oversee the daily and strategic HR operations of the San Francisco office. This leadership position will involve serving as a trusted advisor on all facets of talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, policy implementation, and compensation and benefits administration. The HR Manager will be responsible for communicating the firm’s expectations to staff, spearheading performance management initiatives, and developing creative strategies to recruit and retain top talent. The person in this role will also be tasked with providing coaching to other managers, identifying ways to enhance the firm’s processes, and interacting regularly with professionals from other firm locations to ensure cohesive HR strategies.

Required Skills:

The firm seeks a qualified Human Resources Manager with a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of experience in a law firm or similar professional services setting. The candidate selected for this opportunity will demonstrate highly effective leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage, motivate, and evaluate a professional staff. The HR Manager must be knowledgeable of HR best practices, federal and California state employment laws, and government reporting requirements, in addition to being able to exercise strong judgement and decision-making skills.

Annual Salary (US$): 151K-160K /annual
