Position Description:

A terrific and well-established law firm seeks a Payroll Coordinator to oversee all payroll operations in the downtown New York office. This person will manage payroll for a headcount of over 200, including processing any changes with regards to benefits deductions, salary/title changes, and life events. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing payroll records for accuracy as well as generating and analyzing reports. He or she will also assist the Controller with general accounting responsibilities.

Required Skills:

The firm requests a candidate with at least three years of payroll experience, a detail-oriented approach, strong customer service skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is desired and an understanding of ADP Workforce Now is preferred. The person in this role should be capable of maintaining confidentiality and completing assignments accurately and thoroughly.
