Position Description:

A prestigious law firm seeks a Managing Clerk to serve as a leader regarding all filing, service of papers, and litigation procedures. The person in this role will advise attorneys on state, federal, and local rules, and must therefore remain informed on related changes, best practices, and trends. This position will involve filing documents with the courts, calendaring deadlines and upcoming trials, and updating the firm’s electronic databases. This individual will be responsible for responding to inquiries or requests from attorneys, reviewing documents for accuracy, and coordinating services for vendors, as well as providing general litigation support.

Required Skills:

The firm seeks a qualified professional with five or more years of experience in a Managing Clerk’s Office. This individual must be knowledgeable of court rules and procedures, proficient with CompuLaw or MA3000, and familiar with electronic filings. He or she should demonstrate excellent communication skills, previous success working in a fast-paced environment, and effective leadership skills. This position also requires the ability to take initiative, a professional demeanor, and a detail-oriented approach.

Annual Salary (US$): 101K-110K /annual
