Position Location: Stamford, Connecticut
A nationally recognized law firm seeks a Director of Talent Acquisition and Professional Development to play a leadership role with regard to the firm’s recruitment and career development processes. This position will involve attracting and onboarding new and lateral attorneys, coordinating services with search firms and law schools, scheduling and conducting interviews, and making recommendations for hiring decisions. The Director will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the Summer Associate Program, overseeing the firm’s mentorship program, and serving as a resource to new attorneys, as well as communicating the firm’s requirements for ongoing professional development. This person will also be tasked with generating departmental goals and budgets, analyzing trends and statistics, and contributing to the realization of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of experience in legal recruiting and professional development. The qualified applicant will have a professional demeanor, highly developed communication skills, and the ability to effectively market the firm to external parties. In addition, the firm seeks an individual with strong leadership and project management abilities, as well as an aptitude for exercising solid judgement and maintaining the highest level of discretion.
Annual Salary (US$): 191K-200K /annual
