Position Description:

A leading international law firm seeks a public relations professional to become a Communications Specialist for the New York office. The person in this role will be responsible for coordinating all media relations initiatives, including developing relationships with journalists, preparing the attorneys for interviews, and identifying opportunities for thought leadership or article placement. This position will also involve creating content for the firm’s website, drafting press releases or other communications materials, and maintaining editorial calendars.

Required Skills:

The firm requests a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least four years of related experience in an agency setting. The qualified applicant will have excellent writing and editing skills, a proactive work ethic, and a team player approach. In addition, this individual should demonstrate exemplary project management abilities as well as a talent for developing and maintaining effective relationships with the press.

Annual Salary (US$): 95K-100K /annual
Required Education: Bachelors
