Position Description:

One of the world’s leading law firms seeks a Business Development Specialist to support the firm’s Transactional Practices, including Capital Markets, Private Equity, and Mergers & Acquisitions. This position will involve writing pitch materials, creating tailored presentations for clients, and curating practice descriptions, attorney bios, and additional content. The BD Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with the proposal team to generate RFPs, as well as conducting client research and identifying new business opportunities with prospective or existing clients. This individual will also assist with cultivating a database of relevant templates, contact lists, and ongoing marketing activities.

Required Skills:

The firm seeks a marketing professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience; familiarity with transactional practices preferred. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and other team members. The BD Specialist must be able to work independently in a fast-paced setting while applying a proactive work ethic and a meticulous attention to detail. He or she must also be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various market intelligence platforms.
