A highly regarded law firm seeks a Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting to spearhead strategic attorney acquisition initiatives. This leadership position will involve working with practice chairs and executive committee members to determine the firm’s recruiting needs and strategies, as well as discuss best practices, changes in the industry, and potential hires. The Director will be responsible for cultivating relationships with search firms, communicating regularly with candidates, and coordinating all aspects of the interview process, including gathering feedback from interviewers and applicants. He or she will also be tasked with directing integration and onboarding procedures, supervising other team members, and evaluating the success of various recruiting efforts.
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of attorney recruiting experience; an advanced degree such as a J.D. is a plus. The person selected for this position will demonstrate a strategic and analytical approach, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and a high level of professionalism. The Director must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while mentoring and supervising other team members. This person should also be flexible to travel and work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the role.
Annual Salary (US$): 201K-Plus /annual
