Position Description:

A progressive law firm seeks an HR professional to serve as a People & Culture Specialist for the growing New York office. This newly created role will involve contributing to a broad range of human resource functions, including policy development, program implementation, and recruitment and development. The Specialist will be responsible for onboarding new employees, organizing performance evaluation processes, and advising on employee relations matters. He or she will also be tasked with responding to HR-related inquiries from attorneys and staff, planning wellness events, and fostering an environment of collaboration and positivity.

Required Skills:

The qualified People & Culture Specialist will hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least three years of progressive human resources experience in law firm or comparable environment. The team seeks an applicant will excellent organizational, project management, and writing skills, as well as the ability to deliver clear and concise communications to attorneys and staff. He or she must also be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite as well as employee database systems.

Annual Salary (US$): 75K-80K /annual
Required Education: Bachelors
