Position Location: New York, New York
A leading law firm seeks a Human Resources Assistant to work with and support other members of the Human Resources Department. The person in this role will have the opportunity to learn about HR best practices as related to recruitment, benefits administration, and performance evaluation processes. This individual will assist with talent acquisition, payroll procedures, and the resolution of personnel matters. He or she will update employee files, processes background checks, and reconcile time entries, and will also coordinate firm events and appreciation days.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least six months of related human resources or recruitment experience. The HR Assistant will be required to interact professionally with others, apply a team-oriented attitude, and demonstrate strong communication skills. He or she must be able to maintain confidential information and apply sound judgment and discretion.
Annual Salary (US$): 50K-55K /annual
