Position Description:

A multi-service law firm is seeking a Director of Professional Development & Legal Recruiting for the Los Angeles office. This dynamic position will involve ensuring that strategic planning and professional development efforts are properly executed in addition to overseeing the firm’s CLE training practices. Responsibilities include sourcing potential lateral talent, managing on-boarding policies, organizing the mentorship program, and conducting performance reviews. The Director will also be responsible for managing the departmental budget, planning events and seminars, and ensuring the success of all professional development programs.

Required Skills:

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, along with a minimum of six years of experience in professional development in a law firm setting. The candidate must possess a self-starter attitude and be able to make logical judgement calls consistent with the firm’s practices. Along with project management expertise, he or she must also express highly developed writing, editing, and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the Director will need to be a strong leader who can supervise a team of professionals.

Annual Salary (US$): 191K-200K /annual
