Position Description:

A forward-thinking litigation law firm is presently seeking a tech-savvy financial analyst with management experience to become the Director of Client Data Analysis. The person in this role will utilize his or her superior mathematics skills to perform complex investment analysis for securities and investment-related litigation; techniques will include statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. The Director will be responsible for developing best practices for the department, mentoring team members, and serving as the liaison between firm partners and a team of data analysts. Other key areas of responsibility will include enhancing a proprietary database of client data, generating reports, and contributing to strategic business decision-making.

Required Skills:

The firm requests a candidate with approximately six years of financial analysis experience, exceptional leadership abilities, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science. The successful applicant will have a detail-oriented approach, effective communication skills, and the ability to think strategically. Knowledge of Bloomberg, Thomson Financial, and SEC filings is preferable, as are computer programming skills such as SQL, CSS, HTML, or Python.

Annual Salary (US$): 191K-200K /annual
