An exceptional law firm seeks a Diversity & Inclusion Specialist to spearhead a number of programs, initiatives, and policies that drive the firm’s commitment to diversity & inclusion. This role will partner with the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer to attract a diverse workforce in addition to coordinating heritage celebrations, guest speakers, clubs, educational programming, and events. The D&I Specialist will be responsible for reviewing diversity statistics, updating internal and external communication materials, and managing the diversity scholarship, as well as participating in associated meetings and affinity groups.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in a role focused on Diversity & Inclusion. To be successful in this role, a candidate must have strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to apply a detail-oriented approach and proactive work ethic. The D&I Specialist should be able to manage independent projects in a fast-paced environment while interacting professionally with internal and external parties.
