A global law firm seeks a Legal Assistant to be responsible for increasing attorney effectiveness by providing administrative support to a group of successful Financial Restructuring Partners and Associates. This person will be responsible for maintaining attorneys' calendars by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, depositions, and travel, as well as managing internal filing systems. The Legal Assistant is expected to communicate with and obtain information from clients and other parties, ensure the timely completion of delegated assignments, and respond quickly to changing demands and priorities.
This position requires six or more years of experience within a law firm environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills such as working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. This person must also have strong interpersonal skills, work well with a team, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
