An outstanding law firm seeks a Compensation Manager to oversee all compensation activities, including benchmarking, pay determinations, survey completions, and statistical analysis. This role can be based in any of the firm’s domestic locations, including New York, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Atlanta, or Chicago. The Compensation Manager will be responsible for updating the firm’s compensation policies, completing all federal reporting requirements, and reviewing external data to enhance internal practices. This position will also involve updating position descriptions, preparing budgets, supporting hiring partners with determining offers, and providing guidance on year-end and sign-on bonuses.
The firm seeks an HR professional with a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree in CCP designation preferred) and at least six years of compensation experience in a professional services setting. The qualified applicant will have sophisticated technical proficiencies and compensation acumen as well as excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The Compensation Manager must be able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced setting while applying a keen attention to detail.
