An international law firm seeks a Director of Diversity & Inclusion to play a firm-wide, leadership role. This position will involve collaborating with the talent acquisition team on efforts to attract diverse candidates, tracking diversity metrics, and creating communication materials that promote the firm’s focus on diversity and inclusion. The Director will be responsible for coordinating the firm’s participation in events and key surveys, developing programming for internal and external parties, and compiling relevant articles, benchmarking tools, and materials to educate members of the firm on diversity and inclusion matters. This individual will also be tasked with managing budgets, supervising a team of professionals, and identifying ways to enhance and modernize the firm’s diversity initiatives.
The Director of Diversity and Inclusion must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least ten years of diversity experience in a law firm or similar professional services setting. The individual selected for this opportunity will demonstrate exceptional communication and project management skills, a collaborative work ethic, and a strong attention to detail. He or she must be able to exercise sound judgement and decision-making skills as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team.
