Position Description:

A prestigious law firm seeks a Private Equity Paralegal to join a team of talented professionals in the New York office. Key responsibilities will include coordinating among clients, attorneys, paralegals, and clerks to optimize workflow and meet deadlines. Moreover, the person in this role will be responsible for maintaining records of investor documents in online databases and in hard copy files, assisting with entity formation, and managing other facets of corporate transactions. The Private Equity Paralegal will also be tasked with handling projects related to subscription document review-related issues, including document audits and reconciliations.

Required Skills:

The firm requests a candidate with at least three years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, a bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of partners, attorneys, and staff. The Private Equity Paralegal will also be able to maintain confidentiality of information and work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the position.
