Position Location: New York, New York
An outstanding law firm seeks a Facilities Assistant to work closely with the Facilities Director within the New York office. This position involves preparing workstations for new hires, assisting with inter-office moves, and responding to work order requests such as hanging artwork, installing shelves, and adjusting thermostats. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for monitoring inventory, replenishing supplies, and pulling and distributing supplies as needed. The Facilities Assistant will also maintain and repair furniture, log information into the firm’s internal system, and respond to incoming calls and emails from attorneys and staff.
This position requires a strong customer service orientation, the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and a positive and outgoing demeanor. The Facilities Assistant should demonstrate strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and the ability to lift and move furniture and equipment. This individual must be willing to work in the office on a full-time basis and flexible to work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the role.
