Position Location: New York, New York
A non-profit research and business membership organization seeks a Human Resources Generalist to play a leadership role regarding talent acquisition, onboarding, staff development, performance management, and employee relations. The HR Generalist will be tasked with identifying and hiring candidates for open positions in addition to advising on matters such as position descriptions, job functions, and compensation. This position will involve conducting onboarding procedures, recommending retention strategies, and overseeing review processes, as well as handling procedures related to performance issues, separations, and departures. He or she will also contribute to other HR initiatives in collaboration with the CHRO and Associate Director of HR.
This HR Generalist role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of HR experience, including several years in a recruiting capacity. This individual must have a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and employee relations matters, as well as a positive attitude and outgoing nature. The HR Generalist should also have strong project management, organizational, and communication skills as well as the ability to work well independently.
Annual Salary (US$): 95K-100K /annual
