Position Description:

This Collections Manager position involves overseeing an extensive client portfolio for a leading international law firm. The Collections Manager will be responsible for meeting with billing attorneys to discuss outstanding balances, determining course of action, and resolving any collections issues. This individual will be responsible for researching conflicting balances, negotiating settlements with clients, and determining when escalations are necessary. He or she will also be tasked with developing positive rapport with clients to enhance future outcomes.

Required Skills:

To qualify for this position, an applicant must have at least six years of legal collections experience and a demonstrated understanding of electronic billing processes. The firm seeks a detail-oriented and hardworking professional with strong communication and project management skills. Familiarity with Bankruptcy law and related collections procedures is also preferred.
