Position Description:
A global law firm seeks a Work Allocation Coordinator to oversee attorney workflow and utilization within one of the transactional practices. This detail-oriented position will involve assigning attorneys to new matters based on skillset, availability, and adequate utilization of resources, with a keen understand of timelines, deliverables, and individual schedules. This person will be responsible for supporting professional development and career planning initiatives, providing coaching and mentoring, and working cross-functionally with professionals from other departments. This individual will also be tasked with tracking leaves of absence, analyzing utilization data, and making recommendations to enhance efficiency within the department.

Required Skills:
The firm seeks a legal professional with experience related to attorney staffing and utilization, as well as familiarity with corporate transactions. This person should have strong organizational, time management, and technical skills, as well as a confident and personable demeanor. This individual must also be a team player who can establish a positive rapport across the New York office while managing independent projects. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and a JD is a plus.

Annual Salary (US$): 150,000-200,000 /annual
