Position Description:
A collaborative law firm is seeking an accomplished Events Specialist to join their Business Development and Marketing team. The role will involve managing and executing a high volume of events, including overseeing all day-of operations as well as handling pre-event strategy and post-event follow ups. Ideally, the Events Specialist will have established relationships with vendors and restaurants across Manhattan to facilitate arrangements and negotiations. The position will also involve preparing event communications, gathering feedback from participants, and identifying ways to enhance future outcomes, as well as tracking budgets, coordinating arrangements for presenters, and updating client information in the CRM database.
Required Skills:
The qualified candidate must have at least three years of corporate event planning experience, a professional and outgoing demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Events Specialist must be able to manage independent assignments while demonstrating strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of New York venues and must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Annual Salary (US$): 95,000-115,000 /annual
