Position Description:
A multi-service law firm is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join a talented team of financial professionals in the New York office. The role will be primarily responsible for tracking finances across multiple accounts while adhering to firm guidelines and standards. It will involve obtaining signatures for approval, processing invoices and expense reports, and depositing general cash receipts. The Accounting Coordinator will also be tasked with confirming the receipt and amount of incoming funds for trust & escrow accounts and disbursing funds via check or wire transfer.
Required Skills:
The firm is looking for a candidate with two or more years of relevant experience. It is required that this person has substantial experience in trusts. The qualified candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time. They must work well under pressure in a precise, apt, and dignified manner. Preferred software proficiencies include Microsoft Office Suite, Elite or Aderant, and Chrome River.
Annual Salary (US$): 70,000-85,000 /annual
