A premier law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to work closely with attorneys and other relevant professionals in the firm’s Finance Practices. The role will involve collaborating on the creation and implementation of strategic business initiatives, leveraging relevant industry research, and proactively identifying opportunities for attorney outreach and engagement to new or existing clients. The BD Manager will be responsible for preparing rankings submissions, tracking relevant matters in the deal database, and generating deal lists in connection with new business development opportunities. This person will also be tasked with preparing content for presentations and proposals, updating practice and attorney bios, and crafting social media content.
The qualified candidate will have six or more years of relevant business development and marketing experience as well as a bachelor’s degree. It is ideal that the candidate have experience with legal databases and resources, as well as excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. The firm seeks a highly motivated individual with a sharp eye for detail who can assist with mentoring and supervising other team members. The ideal candidate will work well independently and be highly skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Annual Salary (US$): 150,000-225,000 /annual
