Position Description:
A large global law firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join their accomplished team in the Miami office. The role will require preparing affidavits and other legal documents, maintaining an organized paper and electronic filing system, and contributing to all facets of case management. The Paralegal will help prepare for trial, attend trial in conjunction with attorneys, and serve as liaison between trial teams and third parties. This person will also maintain and file pleadings, utilize litigation support technology, and conduct legal research.
Required Skills:
In addition to 4 or more years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, the qualified candidate will have strong communication, project management, and organizational skills. The firm seeks a self-driven individual who can be available for overtime work and/or travel as required. This person must be able to effectively multi-task and thrive in a face-paced environment. Lastly, the Litigation Paralegal must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as various research and e-discovery databases.
Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-90,000 /annual
