Position Description:
A boutique litigation firm seeks a Data Analyst to play a critical role within the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group. This role will involve analyzing client data and settlement reports, updating and managing a proprietary database, and serving as the main point of contact to attorneys and staff regarding internal legal and analytical support. This person will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues in various database fields, utilizing statistical analysis to develop solutions to case problems, and advising the team on the corrective course of action. Additionally, the Data Analyst will be tasked with documenting procedures, developing business intelligence solutions, and identifying ways to streamline related operations.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a detail-oriented and tech savvy individual with strong mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills. The qualified applicant will be familiar with cite checking, arbitration, and research databases, and should have the ability to expertly manipulate large datasets. This person must also be motivated and capable of communicating findings in a clear and precise manner.
