Position Location: Hartford, Connecticut
A nationally recognized law firm seeks a Manager of Legal Recruiting to be based in New York, Boston, or Hartford. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s strategic talent acquisition goals for both entry-level and lateral attorney hires as well as legal interns and staff attorneys. This position will involve overseeing the interview and offer process, participating in Hiring Committee meetings, including candidate deliberations and decision-making. He or she will also be tasked with managing the Summer Associate Program, including orientation, events, training, summer associate work coordination, and mentoring programs.
The qualified applicant must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of legal recruiting experience at an AmLaw Firm, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. This individual will demonstrate a strong understanding of attorneys, law firms, law students, and the legal recruiting market. In addition, the firm seeks an individual with strong leadership, management, and communication skills, as well as a proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands, as well as flexibility to travel across office locations.
Annual Salary (US$): 140,000-175,000 /annual
