Position Description:

An outstanding law firm seeks a Legal Secretary to support a Capital Markets Partner and several Associates within the New York office. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for document production, filing, time entry and billing, and the organization of the attorneys’ workloads. The person in this role will be tasked with typing, formatting, revising, and editing a variety of documents and correspondence. The Legal Secretary will also be put in charge of scheduling and coordinating conference calls, meetings, travel arrangements, and client appointments.

Required Skills:

The firm is seeking an individual with 5+ years of experience in a Corporate Practice. Advanced computer skills are necessary to handle the workload and knowledge of MS Office Suite is a must. The successful candidate will be a positive self-starter who regularly demonstrates initiative in addition to multi-tasking and prioritizing all assignments. The ideal candidate will have excellent proofreading, administrative, and client service skills, the ability to handle a high-volume desk, and a strong attention to detail.

Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-100,000 /annual
