Position Description:

A global law firm seeks a Director of Events to lead a team in the strategic planning and execution of over 250 annual events, including in-person and virtual events. This position will involve implementing best practices, developing and documenting project management processes, and serving as a trusted resource to executive leadership regarding all facets of event management. The Director will be responsible for meeting regularly with firm leadership to discuss event goals, evaluating the success each event, and identifying ways to enhance future outcomes. This person will be tasked with coordinating services with external vendors, evaluating potential venues, speakers, and caterers, and managing event budgets.

Required Skills:

This position requires 10+ years of event management experience and demonstrated success in a supervisory capacity. To be successful in this role, a candidate must have exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and utilize technology in unique and interesting ways. The firm seeks a team player who is flexible to travel as necessary and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Annual Salary (US$): 180,000-200,000 /annual
Required Education: Masters
