Position Description:
A terrific law firm seeks a Paralegal to work closely with attorneys in the Banking & Financial Services Practice. This role will involve supporting litigation and arbitration proceedings by preparing and compiling legal documents and organizing large volumes of highly confidential information. This person will be responsible for conducting research on laws, regulations, and cases related to the financial services industry, filing documents with the courts, and cite checking briefs, as well as preparing privilege logs and exhibit lists. In addition, the Paralegal will be trusted with assisting attorneys with trial preparations and during trials, coordinating witnesses, and reviewing case documents in Relativity.
Required Skills:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 6+ years of paralegal experience, and proficiency using litigation support and trial technology; prior trial experience is a plus. This person should have highly effective time management, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think analytically and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The qualified applicant will also have flexibility to travel and/or work overtime as needed.
Annual Salary (US$): 120,000-150,000 /annual
