Position Description:
A leading law firm is seeking a Professional Development Manager to coordinate a variety of training and learning programs for the New York office and firm-wide. This person will organize monthly “Lunch & Learns” and other in-house training sessions, including identifying and partnering with external vendors. This position will involve conducting orientation for new associates, identifying ongoing gaps or training needs, and implementing programs to enhance attorneys’ skillsets. Additionally, the PD Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the knowledge management team on CLE management, tracking attorneys’ requirements, and ensuring attorneys remain in good standing.
Required Skills:
This position requires four or more years of PD experience, a bachelor’s degree, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The PD Manager must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. This person must also be able to work collaboratively and foster a positive rapport with attorneys and colleagues.
Annual Salary (US$): 100,000-120,000 /annual
