Position Description:
A collegial law firm in Midtown seeks an HR Specialist to support all facets of staff hiring and onboarding, employee relations, and training and development, as well as advising on HR policies and best practices. This position will involve conducting interviews, soliciting feedback on candidates, and finalizing offer letters, in addition to organizing orientation and integration activities. The HR Specialist will be responsible for partnering with the Director of HR to design and deliver educational programs, as well as activities focused on retention and employee wellness. In addition, this person will oversee time management for administrative staff, monitor personnel changes or LOAs, and supervise the HR Assistant.
Required Skills:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of HR experience in a law firm or similar professional services setting, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. This person must be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as an HRIS system such as UltiPro, Workday, or ADP. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of tasks and be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast paced-environment while establishing rapport with partners and employees at all levels.
Annual Salary (US$): 100,000-125,000 /annual
