Position Description:
A collegial law firm seeks a Payroll & Trust Accountant to manage full-cycle payroll processes and oversee the firm’s Escrow & IOLA accounts. This position will involve ensuring tax compliance and benefit deductions, maintaining employee records, and responding to payroll inquiries and requests. The Accountant will be tasked with reconciling ledger balances, guaranteeing proper documentation for funds, and overseeing the payment of partner draws. Additionally, this individual will assist in month-end and year-end closing processes in addition to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the firm’s financial information.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a Payroll professional with at least four years of experience in a law firm or professional services setting. This person must have strong technical skills, including a Payroll system such as Paylocity or ADP, as well as advanced functions in Excel. Additionally, the Accountant should have strong communication, organizational, and analytical thinking skills.
Annual Salary (US$): 130,000-140,000 /annual
