Position Description:
A multi-office law firm is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to be based out of the firm’s Boston, Stamford, New Haven, or Hartford locations. This role will involve leading the annual budgeting process, generating forecasts regarding rate changes and workload demands, and monitoring monthly financial metrics. This person will be responsible for developing profitability analyses, contributing to strategic pricing decisions, and reviewing realization and margin performance. In addition, the Director will be tasked with producing financial reports for the COO, creating dashboards and KPIs, and explaining complex financial information to the Partners.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks an FP&A professional with a Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience. This person must have a strong understanding of billable hours, rates, and budgeting, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership. The Director must have advanced technical skills, including Excel, and proficiency with Power BI is a plus. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also required.
Annual Salary (US$): 150,000-175,000 /annual
