Position Description:
A collaborative law firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join the New York office and work with Attorneys and Senior Paralegals to perform all elements of litigation case management, including document review, case calendaring, discovery support, trial prep, and trial logistics. The Litigation Paralegal will interact with outside entities such as the courts, government agencies, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to coordinate activities as needed in support of assigned cases. The individual in this role will also draft and analyze legal documents as requested by attorneys and conduct legal research to aid in case preparation.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a candidate with a minimum of two years of work experience as a Litigation Paralegal. The qualified candidate will have experience using e-discovery database tools, assisting with e-filing, and contributing to trial preparation. Additionally, the individual in this role must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong service orientation, and the ability to work well under deadlines. The candidate should have proficiency with Microsoft Office; proficiency with cite-checking is preferred.
Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-100,000 /annual
