Position Description:
A global law firm seeks a Senior Tax Analyst to join the Finance Department. This person will be responsible for tracking partner deductions, preparing the partner distribution schedule, and overseeing payments to senior counsel and retired attorneys. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing property tax returns, and generating state sales and use tax returns. Additionally, this person will be tasked with preparing fixed asset depreciation schedules and providing partner distribution schedules for auditors.
Position Requirements:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of comparable experience in a law firm. This person should have advanced proficiency with Excel and excellent analytical thinking, technical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task effectively and apply a strong attention to detail.
