Position Description:
An established law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary to join the New York office and support several Patent Litigation Partners. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with all administrative activities as well as assembling legal documents and maintaining electronic copies of correspondence, pleadings, and other records. The Legal Secretary will stay current in the use of all firm systems and practices, perform initial conflicts checks, and provide backup to other legal secretaries as needed. This position will also involve managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and processing time entries.
Position Requirements:
This Litigation Legal Secretary position requires 5+ years of related experience within a law firm and proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will be able to create and combine PDFs, redact documents, and run document comparisons. The Litigation Legal Secretary will also have a commitment to providing superior client service, a high level of responsiveness, and a dedication to teamwork.
