Position Description:
A global law firm is seeking an entry-level candidate to join the Conflicts Department in the firm’s New York office. The Conflicts Analyst will assist with administering the firm’s conflict of interest systems for new business and new hires by running conflict checks using the firm’s software and providing detailed reports to attorneys and staff. This person will be tasked with reviewing new business intake forms for accuracy and completeness, opening new matters, updating information, and assisting with special projects as needed.
Position Requirements:
The firm is seeking an individual with a bachelor’s degree and relevant internship or legal assistance experience. The qualified candidate must possess strong research, writing, and typing skills, including the ability to organize complex information in a concise and comprehensive manner. Additionally, the firm is looking for an individual with strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and ability to skillfully prioritize tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required.
